
The international ERASMUS+ project has been launched in Racibórz No 4.
On March 27-28, the first international meeting of the two-year ERASMUS+ project took place, No. 2022-1-PL01-KA220-SCH-00008929;Discover robotics via stem, coordinated by Szkoła Podstawowa nr 4 im. Księdza Stefana Pieczki w Raciborzu. Racibórz hosted teachers from 6 partner countries: Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Iceland, Ireland and Denmark. The purpose of the project is development of key competencies, including of science subject, meeting participants explored the world of science, which convinced them that the exact fronts are fascinating, through an appropriate message that is easy to understand. In the first day, guests were greeted in Old Polish by all teachers and students. A roll call was held, during which children with flags in their hands and greeting in English greeted the delegations. A pleasant surprise for the guests was a visit to the meeting of the president of the city Dariusz Polowy. The next stage was the presentation of the school, which was prepared by the student from class 6a Karolina Świrk. Guests had the opportunity to see the classrooms and meet the students of the school, but they particularly liked it Zielona Pracownia which was subsidized from the Wojewódzkiego Funduszu Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej w Katowicach. The next point was the official presentation partner countries, discussion of education systems and key competences in the aspect of determinants of creative activity. Objectives and assumptions were also discussed project. In this day, participants of the meeting took part in classes at the Akademia Nauk Stosowanych w Raciborzu at the faculty - Automation and Robotics. The lecture was conducted by Dr. Eng. Małgorzata Kuchta. Then the Erasmus+ group got to know the specifics of the university, the work of students in the field of designing 3D printers, industrial automation system based on mechatronic elements and systems. In the afternoon, the international group was invited by Hetmana Raciborskiego Kurkowego Bractwa Strzeleckiego Józefa Plute to learn about the history of the brotherhood and demonstrations of historical weapons. On the second day of the meeting, the assumptions of the project were discussed, the principles of conducting the Organizacja Porządkowa trainings and courses for students and teachers of all partner countries and dates for further mobility have been set. Participants were given certificates and small gifts. At the end of the day, the Erasmus group went for a walk through the streets of Racibórz, and the teachers told about its story: Dorota Michalicka and Zbigniew Cukier. The whole meeting was prepared by teachers participating in the project: headteacher SP4 Marzena Niżborska, Beata Książek, Estera Jędrosek, Sandra Maciejończyk orazMarzenna Mruk-Otulak.
